Historical inaccuracy[edit]

Writing Bishad Sindhu around 1888-90, a couple of decades after the publication of Durgeshnandini, would it be correct to say that through it Hossain was "trying to establish the concept of novels in Bengali"? By then all - as many as 14 more after Durgeshnandini - of Bankimchandra's novels were already published and quite popular. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.194.193.37 (talk) 16:50, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
