Photo[edit]

My screenshot is from a bootleg, which is copyleft basically. Otherwise, I'd have to fly to LA and take a real photo. I'm not made of money! I'd have to go his home turf Vegas! Sposato (talk) 22:06, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Main instrument[edit]

As per {{u|Mlpearc Phone]]'s recent edit, what should be listed for Sherwood's main instrument? It's currently bass and vocals, but previously included guitar, keyboards and drums too. I would favour expanding the list.

Sherwood's main roles at present are in Asia (lead vocals, bass) and Yes (bass, backing vocals). He also played bass and sang at 2016 solo shows. But he also continues with CIRCA:, who had an album out last year on which Sherwood took vocals and guitar (not bass). On his most recent solo album, Citizen, he sang lead or backing vocals on all the tracks, played drums on everything, played bass on all but 1 track, guitars on all but 2 tracks, keys on 6 out of 11 tracks, and harmonica on 1 track. He performed everything on his 2 prior solo albums. Also released in 2016 was Leon Alvarado's The Future Left Behind, on which Sherwood just plays guitars (on all but 1 track). That looks to me like enough to add guitars and drums back to the list, and maybe keys too. Bondegezou (talk) 16:14, 15 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Guitar is a no-brainer, and I'm shocked it was removed. I've added drums and keyboards, per the reasoning you laid out, although I could possibly see valid debate there. Joefromrandb (talk) 05:51, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I still think that vocals and guitar should be included on the list since he sings backing and lead vocals equally as much as bass and plays guitar almost as much. At the very least, vocals should be on the list. ChristianJosephAllbee (talk) 10:28, 9 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I've expanded it to bass, vocals and guitar. Bondegezou (talk) 15:47, 9 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
