Sources[edit]

As offered to TPH, I'm planning to expande and copyedit this article. I'd be grateful for comments on the suitability of these sources. One is Gilman's site biography, but I believe that his notability is established and this will help flesh out the introduction.

Developing the Billy Gilman page[edit]

Further to Bill Gilman's appearance on The Voice and his blind audition singing Adele's "When We Were Young", the number of visitors of the page usually averaging below 300 per day, suddenly skyrocketed after his performance and rave reviews into almost 25,000 on 20 September 2016 (the day of performance), and almost 93,500 on 21 September 2016 just one day into the broadcast of his audition. This prompted me to make major improvements and additions to the page, first of course about his The Voice venture and comeback, but also about his earlier career, various appearances throughout the years and his activism and charities as I expect many will visit the page for updated information as Gilman hopefully progresses further. So all this work was worthwhile proving that Wikipedia is on the pulse of the most recent developments in any current event, and in this case in the progress of upcoming artists and is an ongoing collective effort and work in progress for better and more comprehensive coverage. werldwayd (talk) 21:02, 21 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Need for a new photo[edit]

The photo we use of Billy Gilman is when he was a child singer. See File:Billy_Gilman_2000_in_Boston.jpg. Meanwhile he is now a mature singer. It is traditional that we use a more recent photo that reflects his actual age. werldwayd (talk) 01:28, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
