- @Martinevans123: Because "Newport, Wales" could also mean "Newport, Pembrokeshire". While I've got you, Martin, you might like to have a look at Betws disambiguation page - there's a mixture of ceremonial counties and principal areas which could do with fixing to complement the good map.
