Summer 2008, Planned Updates[edit]

I am planning to make some changes to this page to add more information about Betterton. This Saturday is Betterton Day, so I plan to take a few photos of the town and post some of them here. I don't know if anyone else is actively watching this page, though I have noticed some edits. (Thanks for correcting my spelling...) I don't have any huge plans for the page, I just want to add a section on Betterton Day and maybe one on the annual beach clean-up.

I attended the town council meeting last week and mentioned to the council that I would be making some changes to the Betterton Wikipedia page, as well as looking at Betterton's presence on the web in general. I hope to check this page about once a week or so to make sure that there is no vandalism and to add occasional updates.

Death of Mayor in 1980[edit]

Is it worth mentioning in the History section that on March 20, 1980, the mayor at the time named Monica King Myers, died after drowning in human waste? MountainJew6150 (talk) 17:19, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@MountainJew6150 I'd say yes 2601:40F:4081:DC00:B23A:4426:7982:9216 (talk) 22:01, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
