An excellent article[edit]

For what it's worth, my thanks to the editors. — Ineuw talk 03:21, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I don't understand why we have to article for the same personne. --Nouill (talk) 13:54, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There's a case to be made for either one or two articles but for this subject, and unlike the others, Bertha Pappenheim would meet WP:BLP in her own right. I thus support two articles. Andy Dingley (talk) 17:40, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
She is a prominent figure in her own right. It seems unavoidable to have Anna O. as a separate article because there is so much attention to this case in the psych and related literature. As it stands now, Anna O is mentioned her with a link to the main article. That's appropriate. I think this old merge tag and discussion can be closed. Closed with result: No merge. You are all aware of Anna O., right?24.212.226.202 (talk) 05:58, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal: a perennially ignored request[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result (by WP:SILENCE) of this discussion was merge. --Xurizuri (talk) 03:01, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that Anna O. is merged into Bertha Pappenheim. Both articles are about the same person (overlap). Further, neither article can be a complete discussion of their topic without going into details of the other (context) - although a valiant attempt at scrubbing all mention of her psychological condition has been made here, it does just mean the article reads as incomplete. It's also inaccurate and misleading to portray it as two distinct parts, mental illness isn't something that is separate from the rest of a person's life. And it isn't exactly separate from her notability as Pappenheim, given that some of the coverage of what's in this article occurred because people started to pay more attention to every part of "Anna O." I proposed that Bertha Pappenheim is the final article because she is well known as having been Anna O. and is notable separately under her real name, while Anna O. is only used to refer to her during her illness. Bertha Pappenheim refers to all of her life; Anna O. refers to her period of treatment (and the case study). I'm going to go do the tagging now. Please ping me if you want me to see the response. --Xurizuri (talk) 05:12, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's been a fortnight, so I'll be WP:BOLD due to the WP:SILENCE. Obviously, if anyone disagrees, feel free to revert - I'll try to keep the number of edits to 1 per page so that it's easier to do. There would be an edit to each article and to each talk page. --Xurizuri (talk) 00:00, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Elizabeth Thornton?[edit]

She was a writer, not a medical researcher. The link looks irrelevant. נוף כרמל (talk) 19:37, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
