Is there any reliable source for his middle name really being Russell? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bm213 (talk • contribs) 00:02, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I looked at that but I noticed that it was written by the Berns family. I hoped to find an independent source. The problem is that Broadcast Music Incorporated refer to him as either Bertrand Berns or Bert Russell but not Bertrand Russell Berns. The BMI database usually has the real name as one of the aliases, and the use of "Bertrand" suggests that it is the former. It is possible that the BMI have not been given the correct name but it is also possible that the Berns family are not particularly concerned with accuracy. This is typical of official websites, which are usually more concerned with marketing their product (in my experience). Thanks anyway. Labalius (talk) 23:32, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
