USHMM[edit]

This article contains information uploaded by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. See OTRS ticket 2007071910012533 for details. — Preceding unsigned comment added by USHMMwestheim (talkcontribs) 16:18, 16 August 2007

(ie there's no copyvio of USHMM content here) Jheald (talk) 18:57, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding this new OTRS...since I rewrote much of this article some time ago, I am not sure anything really remains of the USHMM material. Has anyone checked that? Drow69 (talk) 14:14, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

May 2009[edit]

There needs to be a link to the Bergen-Hohne page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cobylub (talkcontribs) 15:51, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kazet-Teater[edit]

The page lacks information on the "Concentration-Camp Theatre" (קאצעט-טעאטער) theatre school and troupe in the Bergen-Belsen DP camp. The Jonas Turkow collection in the Ghetto Fighters' House Archives includes posters advertising their performances of plays by Sholem Aleichem in 1947 in Paris, France and Antwerp, Belgium. -- Deborahjay (talk) 07:16, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

This should hopefully deal with the "lack of in-line citations". I removed two links from the External Links list, as these are now in the ref list. There is one issue that may be controversial: I removed the name of Rafael Olewski from the section where the leaders of the internal administration (Central Committee of Liberated Jews) are named. The previous text gave no reference for that name, the USHMM source only lists the other two. As the only source on that guy given on the page is a book written by the man himself, I guess that makes it a primary source and thus caution is advisable. I did leave in the other paragraph which seems to have come from the same source - but flagged it as requiring a citation.Drow69 (talk) 14:06, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I found a source - actually a whole mini-bio of Olewski - in the exhibition catalogue of the Belsen Memorial. So I also restored his name in the other section. If anyone has the time, the references could be streamlined a little... Drow69 (talk) 11:12, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

These look ok. The Gedenkstätte unfortunately updated their website, but I am too lazy to look up whether the info on the old pages was transferred to the new ones. They are basically here: https://bergen-belsen.stiftung-ng.de/de/geschichte/displaced-persons-camp-1945-1950/ Drow69 (talk) 10:57, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
