The actual bridge closing date appears to have been August 4, 2010. It was planned to be July 28, but bad weather force the opening of the new bridge to be postponed, and the old bridge remained open for a few extra days.

Tagged with an "update needed" tag since 2017, the article seems to be missing information about its demolition and is therefore no longer considered comprehensive. Z1720 (talk) 17:57, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Delist Lacks comprehensive coverage and it also relies heavily on a single, outdated website originally created by the Mississippi Department of Transportation. I think it would need to be rewritten with new sources to satisfy GA requirements. Ppt91 ^talk 02:17, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
