BBET[edit]

I've removed BBET from the article, because there is no reference that alleges them to be a Belgian stay-behind network. Intangible 00:03, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Again. Intangible 01:00, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Again. I've checked the other newspapers in Belgium, and no mention at all bringing BBET in connection with the SDRA-8 or even Gladio. Intangible 17:47, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I hadn't noticed that others had tried to add this material before. I agree that there should be a water-tight proven WP:RS connection between the two events. I remember reading a French language Belgian paper at the time which did make this connection . Until I track one down, would you agree to a "See Also" link? The events are very similar, even if they aren't strictly connected, and readers would probably be grateful for a link. Lord Seabhcán of Baloney 18:23, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It could for now. I would have removed it, were it not that members of BBET are still awaiting trial, a trial which might give some more info about their relationship to the Belgian military, but probably will confirm that BBET is just a group of crazy neo-Nazis suffering from delusions of grandeur. Intangible 14:23, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed one more attempt to include BBET in this article. Since there is no proven relation between BBET and the Stay-Behind network in Belgium, such a reference has no its place in this article unless strongly referenced. This article is already highly debatable without adding this into the mixture. --Lebob-BE 19:37, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I absolutely agree that BBET is a totally ridiculous and paranoid addition to a page which is already bordering on paranoia as it is.

about the end of the stay-behind network[edit]

The end of the stay-behind network should not some nuance, I believe this might refer to meetings of the A.C.C. (Allied Coordination Committee) or C.P.C. (Coordination and Planning Committee) which are internal NATO organizations. The Belgian senate report says, based on two witnesses, that the Belgian secretariat of C.P.C. was dissolved on April 1, 1991. Intangible 14:17, 14 November 2006 (UTC) aaa[reply]

Ganser[edit]

Try to have additional sources on Ganser. His book states some things as fact, such as FM31-21B, that are widely accepted as forgeries.
