History of the name[edit]

As a point of interest in the search for the origin of the town's name, "Beaudesert" is one of the historic names of Leighton Buzzard (Leyton Beaudesert, I believe) in Bedfordshire. I don't know how long it persisted in local knowledge beyond the naming of one of the schools, though, but I felt it may help anyone looking into the history of Beaudesert. — Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 09:29, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
