Copyright violation[edit]

The page was created at 11:08, 7 March 2009 and all but the first sentence was a direct copy of some of the text in Prince Rupert (Prinz Ruprecht von der Pfalz), 1619-1682, by David Plant on his British-civil-wars web site. Most of the text now in the Wikipedia article is not a derivative of that text. But to make sure that this is so I am removing any paragraphs based on that original text. This is necessary because David Plant's webs site's copy left licence is not compatible with Wikipedia's copy left licence. -- PBS (talk) 15:16, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

wrong description[edit]

The description: "The faster Imperial force managed to outpace the Palatines and cut off their path at Vlotho bridge" is wrong. It was the bridge over the river Werre in Gohfeld (today a district of Löhne). In Vlotho was no bridge (over the river Weser) in the year 1638. 77.8.154.198 (talk) 22:48, 10 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
