It appears that Snayer's painting was at some point reidentified as the Battle near Thionville, see catalogue entry at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium. I have commented out the sentence mentioning the painting - maybe it can stand if more information about the reidentification can be found. --Wrongfilter (talk) 12:49, 24 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
