Untitled[edit]

I know nothing about this battle, but the title may be spelled wrong. There is a town called Fère-Champenoise in the Marne département, 30 km southwest of Châlons-en-Champagne. Markussep 19:47, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

can it be right to mention only prussia as only opponent and victorious, when it is sure that Cossacks where among them ? (a cossack town was named in their honour after this battle : Fershampenuaz )--So6sechs (talk) 15:39, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

in fact, it is so wrong, that the Austrian were also part of it... 20 000 french soldiers against 200 000 oponents, that prussia alone couldn't fournish at that time--So6sechs (talk) 15:46, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Forces[edit]

Please see the June 2016 version of this article. The Forces section shows that the contributions of the Allies were Austria (3,700), Württemberg (2,000) and Prussia (800). But the vast majority of the 26,400 Allied cavalry were Russians. Djmaschek (talk) 15:32, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
