Proper Name[edit]

Proper name of the place is "Dorsuniszki" (Polish), Darsūniškis (Lithuanian). By Adlefeld its "Dersuniski" and the victorious M.S.Wiśniowiecki wrote down in his autobiographical notes "1702 In Lent under Dorsuniszki I defeated gen.Hummerholm and took him prisoner of war" https://books.google.com.au/books?id=otlbAAAAcAAJ&pg=PA99&dq=Dorsuniszkami&hl=pl&sa=X&ved=0CCkQ6AEwA2oVChMIhdSrv6-XxwIVZilyCh0t7A3V#v=onepage&q=Dorsuniszkami&f=false "Druskienniki" (Polish), Druskiennikai (Lithuanian) is quite a diffrent place near Hrodno / Grodno, not Kaunas / Kowno and Jieznas / Jezno. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Guy de Vries (talk • contribs) 19:46, 8 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
