Not sure if this article depicts true events[edit]

Having searched through the cited sources, alongside newspapers of the period, I find no reference whatsoever to any Battle of Caribou, or any events related to those described. The references merely point toward secondary accounts of the Aroostook War, with no mention of any Battle of Caribou. I am not a regular wikipedia user, so I'm unaware as to how to proceed. However, it's my opinion that this article ought to be deleted, or at least the citations ought to be removed and replaced by ones which actually corroborate the assertions of the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.135.100.112 (talk) 05:32, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
