Heraldic arms in infobox[edit]
MOS:FLAGICON specifically limits the use of icons in an infobox: Flag icons should only be inserted in infoboxes in those cases where they convey information in addition to the text.
For example they are used in Template:Infobox military conflict when there are multiple belligerents, where they are then be used in other parameters to denote information for the separate belligerent groups, such as the allegiance of key commanders. The heraldic arms that have been used here do not fulfill such a function. Their use here falls to MOS:ICONDECORATION. They have been remived. That WP:OTHERTHINGS exist is not a justification to retain. WP is improved by increments. Cinderella157 (talk) 23:28, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
