Legionnaires' monument[edit]

In Six Days of War, by Michael Oren, it says (pg. 258; Oxford, New York, 2002) it says: The marker placed by Israel over the grave of those Jordanians killed at Ammunition Hill extolled their singular bravery. Where is this marker, if anyone knows; is it on Ammunition Hill, or elsewhere? A picture of it would be a good addition to the article, if someone could take one. Another memorable, and telling, anecdote, from Among Lions, by Robert Moskin (which I will add to the reading list on the page): "a paratrooper who had lost several of his closest friends on Ammunition Hill came back to visit the site ... he saw a veiled woman dressed all in black sitting silently. ... Finally, she asked him, in English, 'Did you fight here?' ... She asked him, 'How were the Jordanians? How did they fight?' He said, 'They were very brave.' ... She said, 'My husband was a captain and the commander of the hill.'" (pg. 362; Arbor House, New York, 1982) Noel (talk) 12:53, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
