I added some detail. I am researching a third section on original content, where I'll try to highlight some of the site's contributions, like Dial's stuff, MGL's UZR work, and CBW's bullpen mechanics stuff. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Miko-st (talkcontribs) 22:03, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well-known and respected site with 10,000 registered users contributing thousands of comments every day. Consists of a news aggregator, multiple sections doing cutting-edge analysis, and team-specific sites that themselves see thousands of page views apiece. In addition to the former contributors mentioned by whomever in the entry that have become employed by MLB teams, prominent media members registered and having made repeated appearances in the threads include Rob Neyer, Tracy Ringolsby, TR Sullivan, King Kaufman, Larry Bowa, and Jeff Kohlman. Together these individuals represent the likes of ESPN, Fox Sports, MLB.com, Salon, and the Ft. Worth Star Telegram.

This site has been the home of some of the leading sabermetric analysis. Chris Dial in particular has posted at various times about his leading edge defensive metrics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.108.29.209 (talk) 16:22, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • This won't be much (if any) of a factor in a deletion discussion. Articles need to be sourced to reliable, third party publications. See WP:V & WP:N, maybe WP:WEB for how to avoid this fate. WilyD 16:50, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
