This article uses a mixture of the widely used <references /> citation format, and the now largely deprecated Harvard system[edit]

Policy recommends not introducing a new citation style to an article that is already using another style -- because the the styles don't work properly if mixed. It doesn't say what to do with articles that have roughly the same number of references in each of two incompatible styles.

If has been nine years since I used the harvard system. I know that, if used as designed, it can provide numbered citations, linked to the passages in the body of the article the citation substantiates. But, at this time, the harvard citations aren't doing that.

For this reason I think we should consider converting the harvard style citations. Alternately, someone who is up to speed with the harvard style could convert all the references to that style. I'll wait a month or two, to see if any fans of the harvard system does that. If no one steps forward to do that, or explain why it should continue to use the harvard style.

Service expansion section[edit]

I have spent some of the past few days trying to find when the line got its third train. I found it today, though the source is not secondary and the news release itself is a dead link. The article itself lists when the second and fourth trains were added but not the third or fifth, which is rather inconsistent. Should I add the addition of a third train right now to improve the article's consistency or wait until better sources are found? ~UN6892 tc 20:36, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
