Gig[edit]

In looking for the word "gig" in etemology (I played a gig last night at the bar.), I find it to be of unknown origin. Looking at "gigue" then "giga", I can't help wonder if they are related.

Yes, they are the same thing. Gautam Discuss 07:13, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion[edit]

There is so much to talk about in Baroque Dance...and I feel like the page is very underdeveloped at this point. Gautam Discuss 07:13, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What do you feel is lacking? A more in-depth discussion of the relationship between the music and the dance? More information about celebrated dancers of the baroque era? A great socio-political history of the era itself? Just curious.
