Confusion[edit]

I find this article very confusing. In several cases, it is unclear what connection the named people have with the Barony of Newton. Biscuittin (talk) 09:12, 27 May 2014 (UTC) According to the testament of Mgt Brown (d. 1687), relict of Edward W of K, their eldest son was James W of K, who died by 1703, when his widow Janet's will was confirmed, but probably before 1689, when Edward jr of Kersie died. It looks like his son John b.1679 was the one who d. 1714, succeeded by br Richard, who d, by 1747. if Richard had belonged to previous generation and was son of Ed sr, he would have been 107 in 1747!78.32.118.192 (talk) 03:11, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
