"Ref" troubles[edit]

I attempted to add a footnote-type reference to this article, but while the note-number showed, the remainder of the article disappeared in the Preview. It would all continue to be present in the edit window, for all the good that did. I just didn't dare hit "Save Page." This is the second problem I've had recently with this function--I simply couldn't get one to form properly on Creation (1931 film). I just tried that one again and got the same result described as having happened here, i.e., the note formed but the remainder of that section of that article did not appear in the Preview yet did in the edit window. Something is dreadfully wrong in this part of the system, and I hope it can be rectified. (Oh, yes, I used an existing such ref note in an adjacent browser tab as a guide; I did not malform it in a way that is my fault.) plot synopsis writing[edit]

I have noticed with many of the classic cartoons, MGM & Warner Bros. - the plot descriptions seem to have been written by someone who perhaps does not speak English as a first language. Proposed merge[edit]

I boldly redirected Barney Bear (title character) into this article because it's a WP:FORK with zero references that duplicates information found in this article. I was reverted by an IP with no edit summary. Is there anyone who can justify the separate article and/or improve it to show notability? Argento Surfer (talk) 12:08, 30 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Strong support for merge - Its an unsourced article about a fictional character with virtually no prose. Not even close to meeting the WP:GNG as is. Split out if/when someone can write an actual article about the subject. Sergecross73 msg me 15:47, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
