Nothing traditional[edit]

I think "traditionally" is a strong word to use considering that there is nothing traditional about this practice, it is a new undertaking. "Traditionally" also implies an overgeneralization since there is great variation among the bark mitzvahs that have taken place (or at least the ones that have been publicized), including the age at which the bark mitzvah takes place (whether it be 13 in dog years or people years). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.220.109.186 (talkcontribs) 18:44, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notable?[edit]

I don't see why these three "Bark Mitzvahs" were notable. True, they were covered in newspapers or on television. But, as I understand it, not as a notable event per se, only as a generic example of a recent trend or novel idea. --The very model of a minor general (talk) 23:34, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's because they're the three that happened. This isn't a thing beyond a handful of fluff news stories. Might as well make a wiki page for water skiing squirrels. And now I've checked, there is one. Wtf Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.82.228.82 (talk) 16:50, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
