Bamunara VillageBamunara (village) – "village" seems to be a disambiguator rather than an actual part of the name, so I suggest this be renamed per Wikipedia's disambiguation conventions. ~~~~

This would not follow established precedent with other articles at Category:Cities and towns in Paschim Bardhaman district and Category:Cities and towns in Purba Bardhaman district. 162 etc. (talk) 16:27, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I believe district should be suffixed to be in-line with the main article and category. Although there no towns/cities named Purba Bardhaman, generally districts in India are named after eponymous towns. So a village (or town) would be a part of that district, but not the town its named after. -- Ab207 (talk) 18:10, 8 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps you can bring it up at Wikipedia:WikiProject India. Your point is a valid one, although I believe leaving out "district" to keep the title concise is the best way to go. 162 etc. (talk) 00:48, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Likewise. If that proposed naming convention gets consensus support, fine, but I'm skeptical that it will. The term district is necessary in those article titles, but not in the disambiguators as district is implied there. Andrewa (talk) 08:52, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
