Did some work on this today. I'm going to try to take some shots of it while I'm in Galveston next week. · Katefan0(scribble) 16:14, July 26, 2005 (UTC)

Unconfirmed reports on Saturday, September 13th from Houston affiliate KPRC that the Balinese Room has been destroyed by Hurricane Ike. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Antennapedia (talkcontribs) 16:03, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have edited the page to reflect the destruction of the structure hoogte (talk) 16:14, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So sad to see it go. Heard that one of the shell shop piers went, too. — Laura Scudder 20:55, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It is indeed sad to see the loss of this Galveston landmark. Murdoch's Pier, the shell shop located just west of the Balinese Room and itself also a part of historic Galveston, was also largely destroyed.RI-Bill (talk) 02:41, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rebuild?[edit]

Are they going to rebuild the pier? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.67.35.97 (talk) 18:44, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
