Why Are The BMW Model Number/Letters Jumbled Together?[edit]

R 1250 GS is correct. R1250GS is not. F900R is incorrect. F 900 R is.

There should always be a space on each side of the number. The first letter designated the engine configuration, and the following letters represent the model type.
