Disambiguation[edit]

Please stop undoing my disambiguation. For instance, when you change this:

to this:

I don't object to adding Wladyslaw Szpilman or the flag, but please don't change ''[[The Pianist (2002 film)|The Pianist]]'' back to [[The Pianist]].My way of entering the link may look long and confusing, but there is a reason for it, and Wikipedia:Disambiguation isn't just my idea, it's a long-established Wikipedia guideline. Pls get rid of the flags, its very annoying.

Clare Van Den Thiel?[edit]

Clare Van Den Thiel is listed as the winner of the 1956 award. The link goes to the article for Francois Perier, who was the star of Gervaise and won the award that year. But as far as I can tell, he won it under his own name and never used the name Clare Van Den Thiel.

It looks like this name is probably a piece of subtle vandalism but I don't want to delete it without discussion. MK2 8-9-11 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.67.52.120 (talk) 02:57, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Correction regarding the first French actor to win the award[edit]

Jean Dujardin is mentioned as the first French actor to ever win the award, for The Artist in 2011. However, Philippe Noiret, who is very much French, won it in 1990 for Cinema Paradiso. Mac Lane76 (talk) 22:32, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
