Date discrepancy: could someone address an error?[edit]

Seems to be some inaccurate information here: the early history states Hugh de Raymes purchased the land in 1296, but a couple of sentences later claims he died in 1295. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C8:810F:1500:D0A0:EBF4:8E9C:29B7 (talk) 15:35, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How did Hugh de Raymes manage to die in 1295, and then purchase the castle the next year? Genevieve de la Voie Moyenne (talk) 03:06, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Done – Yup, a bit of a mess, thank you 2A00:23C8:810F:1500:D0A0:EBF4:8E9C:29B7 and Genevieve de la Voie Moyenne. I checked the NHLE ref here – it says Hugh started the purchase then it ran into royal-approval complications, and he was dead before it completed, which is when his son stepped in. I've added this, with NHLE for a ref. Thanks again for pointing it out. Best to all, DBaK (talk) 08:12, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
