Just wondered if the extra Latin text in the Dialogues des Carmelites version of Ave Verum should be added, or is it not normally sung/spoken?

" The Vienna Boys' Choir (Wiener Sangerknaben) made some notable recordings of Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus in the 20th century." I am not sure that this is really an objective statement. To include this one group would state that anyone who recorded the song should be listed. As far as copies sold goes Libera (a different boys choir) has by far out sold the vienna boys choir in recent history, but I wouldnt even consider the Libera version notable per se. Citation needed[edit]

"... and ties it to the Catholic conception of the redemptive meaning of suffering in the life of all believers." That is in the introduction and nowhere in the text. I don't understand it, and I think it needs explanation and a source. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:17, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest we consider this point in two parts. First “... and ties it to ...” and second the rest.

Taking the second first, that “;Catholic conception” does exist so far as I know, and I’m not sure that it is limited to Catholics - some High Church Anglicans might agree.

Back to the first part I’d say we need more detail on how the tie happens. I suspect that this assertion is right, it just needs explaining a bit. CRMasCRM (talk) 12:08, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
