Does it have common uses other than those listed in the article?
Is it generally considered a good idea to use authbind rather than chroot/sudo/suid/userland-TCP-ports?

Apparently this article is missing inbound links. However, users are still finding it via search engines. I just received an email from a potential user who had found stale links (to my long-dead cvsweb entry for authbind) via this Wikipedia page. So I have fixed up the WP page. But I don't really want to engage in the kind of self-promotion that would be involved in finding appropriate pages for inbound links. Ijackson (talk) 16:41, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
