Untitled[edit]

do you think he should go in the Australian painters category? Cfitzart 11:12, 17 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

He's English through and through. Yet he painted some works in Ausrtalia that are of importance to our artistic heritage. He's mentioned in all the overview-books. There are similar problems with others - E Phillip Fox, for example, spent little more than a decade in Ausrtalia, and painted many of his most representative works in France. Yet I'd definitely reagard him as an Australian artist. Difficult call, I'll abide by your advice.
alright, I put him in both English and the Australian category. I suppose its the same thing with John Glover too. Cfitzart 12:08, 17 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure about him being "English through and through" genetically, with an American father and an Anglo-Irish mother? Hors-la-loi 15:25, 18 April 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hors-la-loi (talkcontribs)
