Hi there, because, the article states "The word "audiography" does not appear in the Oxford English Dictionary", and then provides a link to the Oxford English Dictionary, that's pretty unusal, it's not the way to support a statement, it's essentially WP:OR; you are inviting the reader to go and check the dictionary so they can confirm that the word is not in it. Really what you need is a secondary source that states, "The word "audiography" does not appear in the Oxford English Dictionary", and then provide a citation, hope this helps. The point of citations is so that the reader can verify the statement for themselves. There is nothing wrong (and Wikipedia does not explicitly rule out) these kinds of citations. They are certainly not original research - that's a pretty extreme interpretation of a negative citation. If I were writing a scientific paper and I mentioned that "Einstein fails to notice in his 1923 paper that xxxxx" then citing that publication would be a perfectly legitimate part of the argument and critique. Userful References Removed

Some otherwise useful and supportive references to this article have been removed such as:. I am informed that these are against Wikipedia policy since they appear to be advertising. I would like to raise the point that when anyone references a movie or a text book they are inadvertently advertising, since every film or book has a production company, distributor or publisher selling them to the public; however, Wikipedia does not ban this particular form of advertising. You will have to convince me that each desired reference does what it is supposed to do. The cpift.com reference failed to tell the reader what is expected of an audiographer; it only said what the college intended to teach students of audiography. Binksternet (talk) 05:50, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
