I find the page very messy, and I feel like organizing it a little, but will ask for input first.

  • We should seperate the Atlantis history and make a separate History section for the Atlantis code base. In general, the code and the actual games and variants using it should be separated more clearly.
  • Why is there no link to http://www.atlantis-pbem.org/?
  • There is no mention of Atlantis 5.0, instead 4.0.10 is advertised as the current version. Isn't that wrong?
  • I think that listing maintainers is okay, but sn't Jan Rietema the current maintainer?
  • Should this page contain links to running games? I know it's tempting to get your game advertisement here, but think that kind of information doesn't belong into an encyclopedia, and is already well covered by Greg Lindahl's site.
  • There are a number of derivative games that are significantly different from Atlanis, as well as reimplementations, that still trace their original roots to Atlantis. I would suggest we give them an extra section.
  • Graphical clients should get a separate section.

Enno

Maybe we should even rename the Page. Like Enno said, there are more games related to Atlantis in their code-base (ancestors and descendants), but not Named Atlantis and with a separated code-base. Olympia and Erresea for example (Tarmelion and Wyred I count as Atlantis games, since they still have the same code-base). And I think we should put our heads together to create this page with all the colourful history of this game (code history and playing history wise). But we would need a significant name...

Version 5.0 should be mentioned, that's right, I think the page hasn't been updated regarding the available code-base for a long time :) Even 4.0.10 has quite a lot subversions...
