Fix and add[edit]

1. The introduction talks about two kings of Crete and Asterius II was definitely not a king so the introduction needs to be fixed.

2. Is the "fifth century" BC or AD? I am pretty sure it's BC and that information should be added.

1. Given that the article title is "Asterion (king of Crete)" and there is already an entire page of mythological people named Asterius/Asterion, I'm not even sure Asterion II needs to be part of this article; it sounds like the information in that section could be entirely moved into the Minotaur article. 1. The article begins with "In Greek mythology" and the second Asterion was not a king but the Minotaur. The second entry should not be there at all. It's unrelated to Asterion, the king of Crete.

I have removed the Asterion II section and inserted it into Minotaur with some rewriting and clearer citations. The Minotaur was never a king of Crete. Karl Kerenyi's theories fit better in the "Interpretations" section of the Minotaur page. Sgallison (talk) 19:21, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
