Recent edits[edit]

I recently overhauled this article and thought I should add a note to describe the changes. The main change was to remove a lot of content not related to the topic. Many decorative images, some coverage of related but separate topics, excessive details and unencyclopaedic discussions not strictly on topic.

The other main change was to replace images were possible with text, the images being unnecessary. Many were badly formatted, with numbers obscured, with compression artefacts due to wrong choice of compression. The 4x4 images were too dark to be readable. Mostly though there is no need to use images when text will do – the page loads quicker and is more accessible to e.g. screen readers or people who can't load images for any reason. At the same time I pared back the number of examples to a few representative ones.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 19:33, 21 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
