Orphaned references in Ashikaga Yoshiaki[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Ashikaga Yoshiaki's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Stanford":

  • From Ishiyama Hongan-ji War: Sansom, George (1961). A History of Japan 1334–1615. Stanford: Stanford University Press. pp. 283–284. ISBN 0804705259.
  • From Enryaku-ji: Sansom, George (1961). A History of Japan 1334-1615. Stanford: Stanford University Press. p. 284. ISBN 0804705259.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 12:50, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This Wikipedia page says that Yoshiharu was killed.[edit]

Is that correct? 32.132.12.210 (talk) 03:52, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No, this was a spelling mistake. It was supposed to say "Yoshiteru"; Yoshiharu merely died in exile. Yoshiteru was forced to commit suicide. Applodion (talk) 09:47, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
