Concentration camp[edit]

  • Contributor 62.147.132.26 changed Buchenwald to Mauthausen. I'm a little suspicious of this as Googling Artur London only produces Buchenwald. Hence I have reverted to Sandius's version.
I'm hoping the contribution by 62.147.132.26 isn't one of those insidious factual alterations. However, I have no idea which camp is the right one here, and there's no history of changes by 62.147.132.26 to easily judge by.--Finbarr Saunders 10:35, 9 August 2005 (UTC) (Note: Finbarr Saunders is my former user name. --A bit iffy 21:36, 16 April 2006 (UTC) [reply]
  • User Stefy90 stated that "Artur London was sent to Mauthausen during World War II not to Bunchenwald." I have now removed references to the name of the concentration camp London was sent to as it is perhaps unclear whether it was Mauthausen or Buchenwald. The French Wikipedia article says Mauthausen, but the Czech and German ones say Buchenwald. I hope someone can clear this up. --A bit iffy 21:36, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strangely, most English-language websites indicate Buchenwald, and most French-language websites indicate Mauthausen. --A bit iffy 13:35, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
