Re-writing article[edit]

I have re-written the article in question. I consider it mostly done for the moment.

Two years ago I actually visited the air base and have been to the museum, so it was pretty easy to write the article from scratch.

I re-used some of the information found in the disputed article, and I left a lot of information out as well. I did not mention all the names of museum related people or the director of the museum because I did not consider that too relevant for the context. I also did not mention the details of former air shows or homecoming events hosted by the museum as they seem to be in irregular intervals only and lack relevance for the general topic as well. Reason for this is that a log of past events of an organisation of minor importance does not have room in an encyclopedia. Lack of relevance.

As Arnold field is the municipal airport of Halls, and the Veterans' Museum are on these very grounds I would add a redirect page Veterans' Museum (Halls, Tennessee), too. However, I would not move the page completely to that page as it seems that some people use "Arnold Field" and "Veterans' Museum" sort of synonymously. So it might make sense to keep both.

To address the notability tag in the original article my vote would be that it is notable enough. It is a museum and not too bad if one is interested in the subject matter. I have seen longer articles about more trivial topics in Wikipedia, the notability of which is not in doubt.

As for the references, I do not think that any other reference than the museum website is available. I have searched a while but did not find third-party references.
