Will Rewrite[edit]

This article needs to be rewritten. The information in the current introduction that it was formed in August 1793 disagrees with the major authority for French Revolutionary armies. (Clerget, 1905). Djmaschek (talk) 02:21, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
