Reference for Exhaust projection messed up[edit]

The article says that the number is projected not to run out until 2050, and a pdf is referenced (as '1', the only reference at the time of writing). However, that pdf does not contain any projection for the 308 number (the fields are left blank, which might indicate 2050 as the highest year given in it is 2048, but that's not clear from the pdf). The reference also says it was retrieved in 2013, but the pdf itself is from 2020. I am inclined to remove the claim and the reference, but it might be better if someone wants to do some reference chasing. 73.143.49.80 (talk) 14:39, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why was 402 split?[edit]

Curious as to why 402 was split, when the numbers were in no danger of exhaustion. I understand that in the old days, it was hard to make a single code cover a huge geographic area (cf. 807), but Nebraska isn't any bigger (or at least not much bigger) than either of the Dakotas, whose area codes haven't been split to this day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Edgy4 (talkcontribs) 21:21, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
