Wrong Pictures[edit]

The man pictured in this article (BOTH pictures) is Hugh Montgomerie, the 12th Earl of Eglinton NOT his cousin the 11th Earl. —Preceding unsigned comment added by C Montgomerie (talk • contribs) 20:53, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Parliamentary Constituency[edit]

The text and the info box are contradictory concerning which seat he gave up. The text at time of writing says he gave up Wigtown Burghs to sit for Ayrshire. The box shows him giving up Ayrshire and sitting for Wigtown Burghs until 1768. Which is it? Random noter (talk) 02:43, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
