I was going to ask for sources supporting this edit when I noticed that there are also no sources given supporting the earlier version. Would the contributors to the article mind to provide some? Wikipeditor 17:05, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Random praise[edit]

I think this is a lovely article as of today. It includes pictures of a rather nice archaic smile and a preposterous one; it offers both the conventional critical view and a sentimental rebuff. The link to the Baekje smile adds something as well. Great job, Wikipedians. --Jorend (talk) 18:12, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures in article?[edit]

Of the four pictures in the article, only two are Greek. And the Gandharan Buddha doesn't even look like he's smiling. I think the Buddha and Gudea images should be removed. --Acire93 (talk) 21:44, 5 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
