I haven't read Willey and Phillips' (1958) book, nor other sources that define the Archaic Period, so I'm asking as a point of information: Is it justified to have separate articles for Archaic Period (Americas) and Archaic period (North America)? I note that the other periods defined by Willey and Phillips (1958) each have a single article without any geographical disambiguation. I also found it confusing that this page, Archaic Period (Americas), has the navigation sidebar Template:Periods_in_North_American_history which has a piped link to Archaic period. Should these articles be merged? Krubo (talk) 22:43, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
