How did I do?[edit]

someone let me know how i did on this one

Hi I'm Mike Burke you did pretty good, I'm a direct decendent of Arbogast's Uncle Flavius Richomerus Consul of Rome. Do you think you can help me find information about Flavius Richomerus.

Battle Of Frigidus[edit]

It's perhaps just me but this section seems like a cut and paste from something else. The style is all wrong. There isn't the right sort of neutrality. Take this sentence, " With defeat getting near, Theodosius and his armies retreated towards the protection of the Justinian Alps where Theodosius prayed to God asking him for help against his enemies.", as an example. It strikes me that there is too much speculative assertion and not enough distance.

To me the whole article seems suitable for a first-year student essay but not really for an encyclopedia. Plenty of good sources are quoted, and the facts are given with due attention to NPOV. It's just the florid style, and that seems to go back to one user who did a lot of good work, greatly expanded the article and added the references. It needs serious abbreviation. Thanks to the editor who did so much work on it. Richard Keatinge (talk) 09:23, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
