Hi! I made a few grammatical changes to this artile under the Granary of Chile section. I was trying to smoothen out the language where it was a little choppy. Thanks! --Nolanrose (talk) 05:18, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

lupine[edit]

By "lupine", do they mean Lupinus albus, known in Spanish as "altramuz"? Jonur (talk) 11:50, 14 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Araucanía RegionLa Araucanía Region – According to the Law 21.074, the region name is "La Araucanía". Diego Grez-Cañete already moved the article, but it was reverted as a "controversial change". So, I want some opinions and reach concensus before renaming it (and related articles) Amitie 10g (talk) 01:01, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well, this may be a valid reason to reject the rename, but the ultimate source is the Law. The problem is that there are policies and guidelines that contradicts ones with others, and the community may adopt something or something else based on their POV, most of the time based in the language and common name (China and Taiwan talk pages where I participated are good examples). So, what should be the more correct name for the article? For the record, Los Ríos Region and Los Lagos Region are named as is, but this is a somewhat different case, since "Ríos" and "Lagos" are common words and also surnames.
However, the contents should remain as "La Araucanía" without ommiting the "La". --Amitie 10g (talk) 03:32, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
