Lack of information, concerning great doctrinal shift[edit]

There are in this article clear indications this ministry started as a Oneness Pentecostal Church, how exactly did a change come to pass towards a Trinity Based Church. When did this happen, when did Small die. Did this brought the change, yes or no or slowly? there are a lot of left outs in the story, please fill the blanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:1810:2408:4300:C1A3:220:2178:B07B (talk) 21:22, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of third party sources[edit]

The vast majority of the sourcing for this article appear to be affiliated to the topic, including the ACOP website, its official history by Larden and Wegner's book (she appears to be an affiliate of the church). This needs to be improved. HrafnTalkStalk(P) 03:39, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of third party sources[edit]

It is extraordinary difficult to find third party sources on a topic of this nature. Here are a few contained in this article:

  • Adherent Statistic Citations: Membership and Geography Data for 4,300+ Religions, Churches, Tribes, Etc., an independent source.
  • "Joint Declaration on Marriage".
  • "Religious Leaders Sign Declaration on Marriage". Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops.
  • Winds from the North: Canadian Contributions to the Pentecostal Movement, a publication of Brill, a fairly well respected publisher.

By comparison, the largest Pentecostal denomination, Assemblies of God Wikipedia page, has a similar ratio of independent sources.

Just for perspective, comparing this article to that of the Assemblies of God isn't the best comparison. The Assemblies of God is not one denomination but an family of national denominations. Most third party sources refer to specific national fellowships, such as the Assemblies of God USA, and not the worldwide fellowship. Ltwin (talk) 00:48, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
