Apollonius of Citium[edit]

Just discovered this (very nice) page, having created a stub page on Apollonius of Citium earlier today. I will probably move this page Apollonios of Kition to Apollonius of Citium as per standard Wikipedia policy on names: WP:UE, but I thought I'd better give advance warning first, out of politeness, and in case of any objections. Redirection[edit]

Isn't better to just redirect it? Both spellings have been used in the various texts.

True but "Apollonius of Citium" is much more common in English language works. It is what most English-speakers would search for, it's certainly what I searched for when hunting for a page on him, (after creating a page on the Empiric school). I sympathise though, I'm sure Latinised names do look odd (or just plain wrong) to native Greek-speakers. Oh well, I won't make an issue of it, I will stick a redirect on Apollonius of Citium then.
