History[edit]

The film "Animal Farm" played in a porno theater (long ago demolished) located on Boylston St. in Boston, MA, USA for several months in the 1970's. The then-existing Massachusetts obscenity law was overturned by a court and by the time the state legislature had enacted a new one, "Animal Farm" was already playing. Thus it was protected by the provision in Article I, Section 9 of the US Constitution prohibiting ex post facto (i.e. retroactive) laws. Dick Kimball (talk) 14:47, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced removed[edit]

I have removed the unreferenced tag as it is based on the British documentary, as is clearly stated at the bottom. Maikel (talk) 19:57, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
