No active service?[edit]

It's just occured to me that Angas has no campaign medals, nor does he have the active service medal.
How did he get to / get past 1 star level with no active service? Pdfpdf (talk) 11:40, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well I guess it had to happen sooner or later -- clearly he was thought to have the general leadership and administrative goods, without ever having come under fire (except of the political kind)... ;-) Interesting you post this now, in the SMH's Good Weekend supplement the other week he was featured on the front page and the article specifically referred to the fact that he'd been in the RAAF for 20 years before he "fought his first war", i.e. planning for the Gulf coalition in 1990. However unless he was "in country" during this or subsequent conflicts, he wouldn't qualify for any campaign or active service medals. There you go... Nothing in the article about what the ASM 45-75 was for. I've just assessed this article as C Class for that reason (B2=no). Peacemaker67 (send... over) 00:53, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The bar says PNG, but I can't tell you when that service occurred.Lexysexy (talk) 01:01, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Page move objection[edit]

This was never discussed, and is unnecessary. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 06:42, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with JackofOz, it's not standard. Nford24 (PE121 Personnel Request Form) 06:47, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Convention is to not use the honorific prefix in article titles, so I agree with JackofOz and Nford24. This move was completely unnecessary. Cheers, Abraham, B.S. (talk) 06:52, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, guys. I've moved it back. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 08:12, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
